Technical access and server logs

When the website is accessed, the web server or hosting provider may process technically necessary data such as IP address, date and time, requested file, referrer, browser and operating-system information. This serves the secure and stable provision of the website. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Language selection

The selected language is stored locally in the browser so it can be retained on the next visit. This strictly functional setting is not used for advertising or analytics.

Contact and acquisition enquiries

When you submit the form, we process the information you provide — in particular name, email address, country/region, optional phone number, selected works, price indication, delivery destination and message — in order to respond and prepare a possible transaction. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual steps or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for other enquiries. Please do not submit unnecessary personal data relating to third parties.

Email processing

Form enquiries are delivered to a Gmail mailbox used by the website operator. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google processes data required for email delivery and mailbox operation. Depending on technical infrastructure, processing may occur in third countries, subject to the data-protection safeguards provided by the service provider.

Cookies and local storage

Your consent choice is stored locally in the browser under the key daniel_pilot_consent (localStorage). That record contains no personal data: only the decision (analytics on or off) and a timestamp. If you accept Analytics, Google Analytics may set its own cookies on this domain.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics (a service provided by Google) is loaded only after your consent. It is used to measure visits and to understand which artworks and pages interest visitors. No data from the acquisition form (name, email, phone, address, message, price offer) is intentionally sent to Google Analytics. You may withdraw consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. The legal basis is consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). International data transfers may occur under the legal mechanisms that apply. Withdrawing consent does not erase data already sent to Google before the withdrawal.

Retention period

Enquiry data is stored only for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry, carry out any resulting transaction and comply with statutory retention or evidentiary duties. Data that is no longer required is deleted unless the law requires further storage.

Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you have in particular rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and, where applicable, objection or withdrawal of consent. You may also lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority.
